The Fail Safe Project formed in the fall of 2010. Even though they haven’t been in the same city, or state, in a long time, they find a way to make practice work, and play a few shows now and then.

In February of 2012 The Fail Safe Project released their four song EP which allowed them to tour for almost two years. After they were finished touring they decided to put out a full album. Turn The Page was released in June of 2014 and was accompanied by a CD Release Party.

The band is curing working on new music and would love to start touring again after releasing another album. Working on the album has proven tricky with one of their band mates in Alaska, but should be easier when he moves back down to the Seattle area to join the other members.

Inspiration for them is “anyone who has the balls to get up in front of people and put their talent out there. Someone who has the passion, the will, and the drive to pursue their passions and dreams. We all come from different genres, it’s weird how it all comes together. We are very diverse, influences range from Faith No More to Alanis Morissette. We have multiple influences from Metal Screamo to Pop.” With all the influence and inspiration that they have, it shows in their music. “Having diverse backgrounds, I would say it’s a punky, pop, hard rock. We’ve tried to make a rollercoaster of live music. Best way to describe it is, it’s the most fantastic fucking thing you’ve ever heard in your life.”In the past, The Fail Safe Project has toured with bands such as SevenDust, Avenged Sevenfold, Three Days Grace, Seether, Everclear, and Royal Bliss, just to name a few. They did a tour where they played 30 shows in 35 days and they loved it. They were able to meet many different people and travel with several bands that they look up to, it was an amazing experience for them.

So when can we expect The Fail Safe Project to start touring again? Hopefully soon. They would love to start once their new album is complete. Where would they play though? Spokane of course. They enjoy the Spokane music scene and would love to play at the Knitting Factory, as well as the Gorge. Red Rocks is also on their list of places they would love to play, the draw of the natural amphitheater.

A tour cannot happen yet, but they do have a couple shows lined up. They will be at Boomers in Lewiston, ID on August 25th with Alien Ant Farm and Trapt; then on August 26th they will be at Tony V’s Garage in Everett playing the same show. You can snag tickets for one or both shows on ticketfly.com. If you use a special code (TFSP) at checkout for the Everett show, you can get a good deal. Tickets for the 25th in Lewiston are going for $20 presale and tickets for Everett are $30 before your discount with the code.

The guys in The Fail Safe Project want their fans to know that they are working CaviGold Records to get music out there to you as fast as possible. They also would like their fans to know that fans are the best part of the show.

The reaction of the crowd is the best part. Knowing that they feel it and get it. “Music is amazing. Seeing something we created from nothing touching someone at a cosmic level is the most amazing feeling.”
