Satellite Diner
Your late night go to.
If you have been out all night or just craving some awesome food in odd hours of the evening. Satellite is the place to be. It is well known that Satellite is open till four in the morning, with their full menu any time in the day including their breakfast. Who doesn’t love having the option to eat breakfast foods anytime? I mean isn’t that why we all love McDonald’s? Satellite also sports a bar that’s attached to the diner. Have you ever been drinking and get the munchies? I always do and always crave breakfast. So the satellite is perfect for those who crave breakfast foods.
Satellite is my go to place after any concert, it's a place I can go enjoy some great food with some great friends. The service is amazing, but know when you do go there, you will be waiting to get a seat because it is always busy. Everyone loves the satellite for their home cooked diner meals. I personally could eat breakfast for every meal if I had the choice. The Satellite reminds me of going over to my grandparents every Sunday after church to have breakfast that my grandfather would make. It gives you that home cooked feeling which usually sparks up warm memories, comfort food. I’ve only found one other place so far in my food adventures that compared to my grandpa’s breakfasts till now.The location also houses a quaint bar off the Diner. Which I feel is genius because everyone has had the beer munchies once or twice in their lives, am I right? The bartenders are splendid at what they do as well. The waitresses at the diner are very upbeat and great bubbly people to be served by.
I had their Breakfast Sliders, which was an explosion of flavor that hit all of my senses. The hollandaise sauce is what pulled this dish together into the harmonious greatness. The plate comes with two adorable little slider sized sandwiches, with scrambled egg and your choice of ham or bacon, melted cheddar cheese, and the hollandaise to dip everything in! It also comes with the choice of hash browns or fries. Which I chose the fries and of course tasted amazing when dipped in the hollandaise. I think their biscuits and gravy is pretty scrumptious as well. Biscuits are nice and soft and not dry at all. The gravy again is home made not the premade dried powder mix most restaurants used. I still haven't tried any of their burgers but I have been told they are the best in town.
So if you are ever downtown and craving some breakfast, head on over The Satellite Diner and grab anything on their fantastic menu. They even have different options other than breakfast which include burgers, hot and cold sandwiches, flat bread pizza’s, salads, soups and even sirloin steaks.
